Dorn announced his transfer to the Hoosiers from Elon last month.
The 6-foot-7, 200-pound Charlotte, N.C. product averaged 15.2 points, 3.8 rebounds and .8 assists for the Phoenix in 2024-25. He shot 37.4% from the field overall and made a team-high 74 three-pointers (on 35.1% shooting). Dorn shot 80.5% at the free throw line.

DeVries is the full-time seventh head coach of the Hoosiers since 2000 and the fourth since 2017. He has a track record of success at Drake and West Virginia and he will be given the resources necessary to compete at the highest levels of the sport.
He has also inherited a mostly empty cupboard. After several days of transfer portal activity, there was little left on Indiana’s roster and DeVries had to scramble to put together a team for next season. He has done exactly that prior to his first season at both of his previous head coaching jobs and had success, so the Hoosiers are seemingly in good hands on that front. The level of success in DeVries’ first season will likely be determined mostly by the decisions the coach makes in the next month. It is likely to be a whirlwind for DeVries and his new staff.

Mike Woodson says goodbye
In mid-May, former Hoosiers coach Mike Woodson released a statement on social media expressing gratitude for his four seasons leading his alma mater. The statement came in the wake of news he had been named the associate head coach of the Sacramento Kings.
“Coming home to lead Indiana Men’s Basketball was an honor,” Woodson wrote in his statement. “It was a great opportunity to represent the program that helped shape my college career, and I’m deeply grateful for the full-circle journey back to Indiana.
“Thank you to the fans for your support through the ups and downs, my players, my dedicated coaching staff, team managers, the IU professors who guided our young men off the court, the medical staff and trainers who kept us healthy, and the strength coaches who challenged us daily. To my wife, Terri, and our daughters, Marian and Alexis, your love and support have made this journey worthwhile. To my family and friends, thank you for giving me strength to continue building my vision while staying grounded.
“Coming back to my Alma Mater to coach brought me fulfillment. I’m proud to watch the young men I’ve coached transition into gentlemen on and off the court. I want them to know how proud I am of them. Our journeys will continue, and I’ll always be here for them.”
