Caitlin Clark Sends Powerful 5-Word Message to Boyfriend

WNBA star Caitlin Clark doesn’t stop.
After being named the 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year, the Indiana Fever point guard is ready to take on her second season in the big leagues—but is making sure she doesn’t lose herself in the game. At just 23 years old, she already seems to have mastered the work-life balance, as evidenced by a recent milestone in her personal life.

On Thursday night, Clark took to Instagram to share a sweet message marking the two-year anniversary of her relationship with boyfriend Connor McCaffery. In addition to a pair of black-and-white photos that showed the couple embracing, Clark captioned the images with the following message: “Another year with my favorite person 🙂 I’m so thankful for you,” followed by two hearts.
It didn’t take long for McCaffery, an assistant coach for the men’s basketball team at Butler University in Indianapolis, to respond with a simple heart emoji, which quickly racked up hundreds of likes.
McCaffery also commemorated the special date in a similar fashion on his own Instagram. He posted yet another black-and-white photo of the couple holding hands, and taken from behind. He captioned his anniversary message: “2 years ♾️ keep being u 🖤.”

Clark kept the love alive with her own response to McCaffery’s post: “Love you 💓.”
The couple’s romance began in April 2023, when they were both still students at the University of Iowa, where they both played basketball. While Clark has continued to dominate the game post-graduation, her beau moved onto the staff side of the sport, first taking a job with the Indiana Pacers. In late 2024, he moved into his current role for the Butler University Bulldogs.
