With the Round of 32 wrapping up on Sunday in the NCAA Tournament, there are still plenty of highly anticipated matchups set to unfold before the Sweet 16 is decided ahead of next Thursday when the tournament resumes.
Through the first three days, it has been a weekend of predictable results, with all No. 1 seeds advancing through the first round. However, both Duke and Florida still have one more game to go before securing their spots in the Sweet 16.
Before the tournament began, legendary head coach Urban Meyer confidently predicted that his former team, Florida, would capture their third national title without hesitation.
“I’ll go right now, Florida’s gonna win it all,” Meyer confidently said. “South, I got Michigan State; Bama, East; and then Tennessee is my fourth pick. So, I have three SEC schools in there, and the Final Four is great, but I think the Gators are gonna pick up their third national championship in school history.”
Meyer is well familiar with some of the greatest teams in Florida basketball history, as he was the head coach of the Gators football team during Florida’s historic back-to-back national titles in 2006 and 2007. Meyer was with the program from 2005 to 2010, where he helped bring two national championships to the university.
